How I analyse competitors' creatives on Meta

When I launch a new campaign on Meta Web, the first thing I do is look at the creatives the large competitors are running. Building creatives from nothing is hard. They have dozens of failed tests behind them, and I get to see only the best of the best.

The trouble is that in the Facebook Ad Library it is hard to tell a winning creative from one that is merely being tested. I go by the date: if an ad has been running for months, it works. But that is not enough — it might be running on a minimal budget.

What I want is the real volume of impressions, without selling a flat to pay for a service.

Tyver solves this

For Europe it shows the audience's gender and age, and the number of impressions — which is the valuable part.

Where the data comes from

EU law obliges Meta to disclose it. The data is in the Ad Library for campaigns targeting Europe, but you cannot filter by impressions there. Tyver has that filter, which is very convenient.
